The following images are links to the various different Fractal Galleries. I have so many of these images, around 130, that I felt breaking them down into categories would make navigation easier.
The first Fractal Gallery is of all my Tree images, including ones you may see elsewhere, like in the Savannah pictures:

The Oconee River
The next Gallery consists of images of water, in particular the Oconee River Watershed. Included are images of the riverbank, paths along the river, and creeks that feed the river, as well as the river itself. A few other watersheds make an appearance, in particular, Watson Mill Creek, which feeds the Broad River, comes to mind.

Leaves and Grasses Fractals Gallery
Leaves and Grasses are grouped together in one Gallery. Again, you may see some of these images elsewhere, in particular the Palmetto Leaves, some of which also belong to the Skidaway Island series. I first photographed winter grasses along the Scioto River in Ohio, during my two years there. The fascination has remained, and my skills in capturing winter grasses have increased. However, the images of Fall Leaves taken in the Fall of 2010 truly take my breath away and remind me something bigger than me is at work when I am photographing and creating.

The Flower Fractals Gallery
The Flower Fractals group I hope to expand upon this coming Spring and Summer. For many years I felt insulted by Spring, because my grandmother Etta passed away at Easter, and it felt like a slap in the face for the world to be so beautiful when I was so sad. However, I have found another reason to celebrate in Spring, and I am coming to love the season again, as I did when I was a child.

Skidaway Island, Savannah Fractals Gallery
My living grandparents, Betty and Roy, have a home on Skidaway Island, off the coast of Savannah, Georgia. I make trips down there a couple of times a year, to visit with them and to take walks and relax in the beautiful nature that surrounds them. A short walk to the marsh, which is lined with living oaks drooping Spanish moss always pleases me and my camera. Often I will detour to avoid golfers, and walk along a lagoon, where waterfowl abound.

Rocky Outcrop Fractals Gallery
While many folks may be familiar with Stone Mountain in Atlanta, Georgia, fewer may know that the landscape here boasts many less dramatic granite outcrops. A desert like environment, covered with green moss, deer moss, rock moss and the hardy cedar as the only tree, the granite outcrops boast many rare and endangered plants. The red in the pictures you will see comes from the flowering plant that grows in the least amount of soil in the world. It comes up with a red stalk and leaves in the spring and a white flower, turns green, and dies by the time the summer heat hits. The image below will take you to my Rocky Outcrop Fractals series.

Random Fractals Gallery
This final grouping of fractals consists of random images I have played around with. Man-made objects such as my back patio, iron fencing, and asphalt are featured here, along with my clouds pictures and landscapes that haven’t yet made a series. Perhaps as time goes by new series will grow out of these images.
